I saw this article today on a New Zealand based website - Stuff. I found it really funny. Please read it.

The journalist wrote:

The long-established rules of music production are being rewritten, music recording is now so easy that anyone with a computer can do it. Programs such as Apple’s GarageBand, a virtual recording studio that comes pre-loaded on every new Macintosh, and Audacity, which anyone can download. For those who don’t have GarageBand or higher-end digital audio workstations like Digidesign’s Pro Tools, some sites offer user-friendly online mixing consoles.

As if to prove her point, the journalist has put her own effort up on the site, which, unlike her, I’ve actually linked to because I am not a total muppet.

This is proof we don’t need recording studios
