Scottish audio company ‘SFX’ have come up with a gel based solution to all of you who are fed up of humping heavy PA equipment around the globe.

‘SFX Gel Audio’ is a hydro-gel coupling product that can be used on…. well, almost anything. I kid you not…

SFX Technologies say

“The design-patented SFX Gel Audio transducer produces high-quality sound when placed against a wide range of materials including glass, plastics, metals, wood, composites and even some fibrous materials.

When the SFX GA transducer is placed against a surface, that material becomes a loudspeaker.

I for one hope the concept will stick…
