Music Producer, John Keane, is teaching three separate workshops this year, the focus being Pro-Tools.
The four day courses will be based on Keane’s book, “The Musician’s Guide to Pro Tools,” which is levelled at novices in digital audio workshops (DAW).
The dates are:
March 17-26
August 18-27
November 3-12
At the University of Georgia (Caldwell Hall), where the Terry College of Business houses the Music Business Program’s lab
An additional class is to be held in Atlanta at the Terry Executive Education Center from September 23rd - October 3rd.
Registration costs $700, which includes instruction and the use of Apple iMacs equipped with Mbox and Oxygen8 MIDI controllers and Pro Tools software, although it will only cost $100 for those who provide their own supplies.
So, if you already know how to use it, for $100, it’s worth going along to make the acquaintence.
