Well it might mess with your decor, but Audiotechnews thinks all studio foam should be green
Auralex Acoustics has released what it claims to be ‘the first environmentally studio foam on the market’.
AA announced the product at the NAMM show last weekend. ‘Eco-Friendly StudioFoam’ reduces dependence on petroleum-based chemical usage by up to 60%, apparently due to its soy components. The company says that the product’s longevity and acoustical properties are not affected, and in fact the StudioFoam has been manufactured some time without harmful chloroflurocarbons.
